i wrote a previous entry about how i would really like to have 6 bridesmaids in my wedding party. mike has 3 groomsmen. so, each of his groomsmen could walk down the aisle with a girl on each arm — wouldn’t that be great?! now that we have a commenting feature available, please tell us your thoughts on this topic. you can read the original post here.

so whaddya think? please let us know!

in case mike has already prepped all of his friends to vote no, i’ve devised a brilliant back up plan. i’m going to trick mike into thinking we only have 3 bridesmaids, but really, we’ll have more! i’m gonna have cheryl, jo, and barbara wearing chocolate brown. but… i am going to also buy raspberry pink dresses for mimi (our vocalist), alyssa (my sis-in-law), and cindy (my cousin). and if they just so happen to be the same really cute dresses as my bridesmaids are wearing, it’ll be purely by coincidence.

i was ambivalent about adding a commenting feature to our blog. on one hand, i have friends who take great pleasure in doing/saying ridiculous things in an effort to embarass me. i won’t mention any names, but if you’ve seen my friendster profile, that’s the result of me surrendering control of my account due to a bet i lost to someone whose name starts with a “j” and ends with an “ohn”. needless to say, i don’t embarass easily. but they keep trying.

on the other hand, i really enjoy knowing that people are actually looking at our website. otherwise all of the time we spend on it would be for nothing! i told cindy (our first commenter — yay!) that i sometimes leave our guests page open and refresh… refresh… refresh… just to see if new faces appear on the page as people pre-RSVP. i get so excited when i see new photos on the page =) thank you to everyone who has responded!

so i guess that this commenting feature in our blog is another way to know that people are actually reading what we’re writing =P but i’m a little frightened that there’s no approval period for me to screen comments from my friends. be nice, please. pretty please?
